Rainbow Club
At St Michael’s we provide After School Provision which runs from 3pm until 5.30pm:
- Children are based at the infant school where they will complete a range of different activities including, crafts, reading, games and play. Children may complete activities outside throughout the week, weather dependent.
- Children will receive a selection of snacks throughout the week, including wraps, sandwiches and warm snacks (example – beans on toast). Fruit will be available daily. Yoghurts and biscuits on rotation. Water and squash will be available to drink.
- Children may at times, be taken to the junior school to complete activities. They will be brought back to the infant school by 5pm.
- At all times your children are supervised by fully qualified staff; Staff have Food Safety and Hygiene qualifications, First aid qualifications and Childcare qualifications.
- Children are supported and expected to follow the school's expectations as they would throughout the school day, following the schools 'Positive Communication Policy'.
- Rainbow is a very popular club and therefore “ad hoc” days are not always available. If you do require an extra session then this needs to be notified a week before the date. Parents need to be aware that we may be at capacity and unable to offer a place.
- Rainbow club costs £10 per child per day.
If you are interested in your child attending Rainbow Club, please contact the school office to request a contract.
