Severe Weather

There is heavy snow forecast for this week. These are the things that you need to know!

We will always try to keep both schools open. This will depend on how many staff can safely make the journey to school, and also the health and safety risk for the playground and surrounding area.
You will be informed on the website, Facebook and the school app if the schools are CLOSED.
Our school dinner are provided by an offsite provider so it is very likely that we will not be able to provide a hot meal if the snow is heavy. If you are sending your child to school then they may need a packed lunch. Again we will inform you of this on the website, Facebook and the school app.
Children will need to come to school prepared for the cold. Warm clothes, boots, hat, scarf and gloves will be necessary. A change of shoes and maybe socks/tights is also suggested.
After school clubs may be cancelled.

If the schools open, but there is more heavy snowfall during the day, we may call for you to collect your child.
