MP visits our school!

Today we welcomed Mrs Helen Grant, our local MP.

Mrs Grant wanted to personally present Freddie, who's in Hazlitt Class, with a certificate and gift for creating the winning entry for her Christmas card competition.

We wanted to keep the visit a surprise so with the help of Freddie's mum we made sure it was a secret.

Freddie was dumbfounded when we introduced him to Mrs Grant and equally shocked to see his mum in Mrs Heather's office.

A huge well done to Freddie - we are very proud of your achievement!

Sadly, Mrs Grant could not stay for very long, but before she left we agreed she would visit again and meet all our wonderful children.  Upon leaving she complemented  the school and she particularly liked our British Values Tree in reception - she suggested the Houses of Parliament needed one.

Our thanks to Mrs Grant and Freddie's mum for a lovely surprise!
