Backpack                         

Dear Parent/Carers,

Last term, we asked the children how they would like to improve the Junior School.

The children unanimously voted for junior school backpacks to be added as optional uniform in addition to the current book bags. The children, particularly those who sometimes use a scooter or bicycle to get to school, felt that the current book bags were uncomfortable and got in the way when riding or cycling.

We have taken this feedback into consideration and have added the option to purchase a school backpack from School Trends. There is no expectation for you to purchase one but it is there to provide more choice to the children. The price is £11,25 (with logo) and, if purchased, would need to be ordered in burgundy to fit with our school colours.
